Alsager 5

The 2012 running on the race was eventful to say the least with a large amount of overnight snow making many of the areas roads hard to pass. Ken and his team however had been hard at work all morning clearing wherever needed including the entrire finishing section so a big thankyou to the entire team am sure the runners were very gratfull!

The race was a depleted field because of many people not being able to attend however this did not stop the race attracing another class entry with Luke Crag of Mansfield taking victory from the 2011 winner Anthony Ford of Sale harriers with Dave Webb of Leeds in third.

The ladies race also produced yet another fantastic race with Elle Baker of Stockport harriers taking victory from Sonia Samuels of Sale harriers with kate Avery of Shildon in third.
